Francesca will give a summary of the archaeological discoveries made at Brookside Meadows, an ongoing excavation conducted by Red River Archaeology/Rubicon Archaeology in Grove, Oxfordshire.

The preliminary results highlight the long occupation of the site from the late Bronze Age to the end of the Roman era, that culminated with the construction of the villa complex.

Francesca is a project officer for Rubicon Archaeology, with eleven years of experience. After her graduation, she dug for research in Turkey, Greece and Italy, before moving to the UK where she took part in a variety of commercial projects.
