Swift Talk and Walk

23 June @ 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm

Join us for an inspiring talk by swift guru Ailsa Claybourn about how we can protect Hungerford’s precious swifts. Find out if your home is suitable for a swift box, how to play ‘swift call’s to attract young birds, how and why to map your swift sightings.

And find out what plants are best to grow to attract the insects that swifts need to feed on.

After the talk in Hungerford Hub & Library Ailsa will lead us on a guided walk to spot swifts and hopefully visit some of their nesting sites in Hungerford.

Entry is free but spaces are limited so please pre-book and let the organisers know if you can’t make it on heat_hungerford@yahoo.com
