Come and join us on 16th November 10-7.30pm at Spirit of the Vale where we will take the stress out of your Christmas shopping and you can have a lovely experience with 30 carefully selected stalls in a gorgeous 16th century barn and tick off everyone on your list.

Free parking and free entry – though we are delighted to accept charity donations on the door.

Do your shopping and fill out your Spirit Wish List as you go, get your partner/husband/mother/sister/friend/wife to come and we will give it to them so you get what you want on Christmas Day too!

Childrey Stores will be serving delicious refreshments all day and from 6pm Sparsholt’s award winning Star Inn will be serving cocktails and canapes in the barn.

Many of the villagers in the Vale use West Berkshire Mencap’s services due to the proximity of the Mencap Centre in Newbury and the extensive services they offer. Every penny they receive from this event will go towards their target of £70,000 to build a fully equipped shepherds hut in the grounds of the Mencap Centre to provide desperately needed respite care for children with learning disabilities, giving their parents a much needed night off to recharge their batteries.
