Family Activity Day – Black pepper
The national bird of India is a peacock so we’ll be using Deco pens to paint a picture of this bird’s colourful feathers on a rock using real examples of the feathers, so you’ll have a beautiful ornament or paperweight to take home.
Also, colour-in a wooden garden stake to use with the Growing2gether activity outside in the kitchen garden from 10.30am to 3pm. Join Growing2gether in planting some fast growing rocket to take home to then harvest for your salad. You can also smell and taste other Elizabethan herbs and discover their many uses.
Growing2gether are a small local charity providing work experience and training to adults with learning disabilities as well as family fun days and a thriving toddler group open to all.
You can do all the activities today for the usual charge of £2 per child.
