Crofton Beam Engines, home to the world’s oldest working steam driven beam engine, is pleased to announce selected dates when visitors will be able to see our winter maintenance works in action. They will also allow visitors to see work behind the scenes at our unique site. These open days have proved very popular in previous years and once again visitors will be able to take guided tours and talk to the volunteers and hear about our plans as we work towards reopening at Easter 2020.

Entry is FREE and tea/coffee and biscuits will be available for a donation towards our work.

Winter Works public dates are:

Saturday November 23rd 11.00am to 3.00pm

Saturday December 7th 11.00am to 3.00pm

Tuesday January 21st 11.00am to 3.00pm

Tuesday February 18th 11.00am to 3.00pm

Activities to suit all ages.

Supported by the Heritage Lottery Fund.
