Come and commemorate the 80th anniversary of VE Day with Belle Canto Trio as they play some fabulous songs from the forties to help to raise some funds for MacMillan Cancer Support.
We’ll take you on a ‘sentimental journey’ to ‘Chattanooga’ where you can ‘gather lilacs’ on ‘some enchanted evening’.
Belle Canto Trio is a vocal trio comprising of Daphne George, Gabriele McKeown and Heather Sims.
Their wide repertoire ranges from music hall turns and show songs, through to modern light classics and opera. They entertain their audiences with songs arranged for trio, duet and solo. Singing mostly with piano accompaniment, but occasionally a cappella.
