An enthralling performance of the story of the first Christmas. The medieval text from the York Mystery Cycle plays is combined with medieval costumes and sung music of the period. All set inside the 12th century decorated church of St Mary the Virgin. This is a beautiful and traditional way to start the festive season away from hustle and bustle of everyday life.
