Join us for our Make and Do Holiday Club for a world of creative fun that will keep boredom at bay all day long!

Young people aged 4 to 8 can come and join us for day-long creative fun in the school holidays. Taking place in our dedicated workshop space, the Learning Centre, participants will get the chance to take part in all sort of creative activities led by our expert team – from arts and craft to drama, dance and movement as well as the chance to relax and watch a film.

Duration: 9am – 1pm or 1pm – 5pm

These workshops will be running on 31 July, 1, 2, 7 – 9, and 14 – 16 August.

Explore Didcot Railway Centre – here you will see a unique collection of Great Western Railway steam engines, coaches, wagons, buildings and small relics; and a recreation of Brunel’s broad gauge railway.

Join the centre in a rural setting based around the original 1930s Engine Shed.

In addition:
•Visit the new exhibition, The Signalling Centre, and pull signal levers
•Watch the trains from the train-themed Play Park
•Dress up in Welford Park Ticket Office
•Ride in coaches from the 1930s behind some Great Western steam locomotives or in the Steam Railmotor. There are two demonstration lines, ‘The Main Line’ and ‘The Branch Line’ with trains normally running on either or both of them.
•Watch the trains go past.

Last admission is at 3.30 pm. P
