Hungerford Town Council Annual Meeting @ Hungerford Corn Exchange
Mar 20 @ 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm
Hungerford Town Council Annual Meeting @ Hungerford Corn Exchange | England | United Kingdom

Our annual town meeting  will be held in the Corn Exchange. Doors will open at 6.30pm for refreshments. We would really like to see as many residents as possible support this event. This is your annual meeting and your views are hugely important to us, so we are going to open the floor for you to explore our portfolio. We’re changing the format this year and intend to invite representatives from other areas of the community to celebrate all things Hungerford.

The following groups will have tables at the events with representatives who can answer any questions you have:

Recreation & Amenities/Youth Council
Hungerford Allotment Holders Association
Police
Town & Manor
Tourism & Economy Committee/North Wessex Downs
Finance & General Purposes Committee
Highways & Transport Committee
Environment & Planning Committee
Chamber of Commerce
West Berks Council
Smarten Up Hungerford
H2036 (Neighbourhood Development Plan)

In particular, this will be an opportunity for residents to make their comments on the last-named of these, the neighbourhood development plan. Community engagement is an essential part of this and your comments will, therefor, be influential.

The event will probably finish about 8.30pm.

The agenda for each meeting can be found here (normally from a few days before the meeting) and the minutes here (normally from a few days after the meeting).

In addition, a round-up of the major work of the Council during the preceding month and news of events in the month to come is provided by Penny Post.
