Sandham Chapel Service @ Sandham Memorial Chapel | Burghclere | England | United Kingdom

Sandham is a working chapel having been dedicated on March 25th 1927 by the Bishop of Guildford. There have always been services on Remembrance or Armistice Day and ad hoc ones to mark other special events. There was even a wedding here in 1963. We are now pleased to hold monthly services to which all are welcome. There is no need to book, but as the chapel is quite small space may be limited.

Berkshire Grandparents Support Group is a safe supportive space for grandparents and close family members who have little or no contact with their grandchildren due to difficult family situations. We aim to support you and help you find practical ways to deal with the impact that having no contact with your grandchildren has on your life and that of your wider family.

Berkshire Grandparents meets on the second Thursday of the month at St Nicolas Meeting House, on the corner of West Mills and Oddfellows Road. Our first meeting is Thursday 13 September, 2018. Meeting times are 2pm to 4pm for supportive conversation over a hot drink and cake. Everything spoken of in these monthly gatherings will be completely confidential.

A donation of £5 is requested to cover refreshments and hall hire. To ensure that we have enough refreshments and plenty of meeting space please let us know that you are attending by contacting us in advance (details above).
