Aldbourne 5k Fun Run & Summer Fair @ The Green
Jun 9 @ 10:00 am – 3:00 pm

The last 2 years have been wonderful events and if you were involved you’ll be thrilled to know the Aldbourne 5k Fun Run is returning on: Sunday 9th June 2019

Last year an amazing 47% of the participants were under the age of 18 confirming that anyone could take part. 3 year olds were seen sprinting up Baydon Hill (well, for a bit anyway), followed by pushchairs and dog walker-joggers.

Our 3 overreaching aims were achieved:

(1) we held a truly community event that everyone felt able to participate in

(2) we got young and old alike out into the countryside enjoying exercise and

(3) we raised a wonderful and much needed amount for St Michael’s School

Last year the Fun Run raised a colossal profit of more than £3,000 thanks to most of the village supporting it in one way or another and some wonderfully generous sponsorship. The Friends of St Michael’s School are organising their Summer Fair to coincide with the end of the Fun Run so bring your pennies along, join us for lunch and a drink and some fun games.

Do come along this June to enjoy another wonderful day!

Nature Explorers Club
Jun 15 @ 10:00 am – 12:00 pm
Nature Explorers Club @ England | United Kingdom
Join us on the third Saturday of every month for a hands on wildlife club for 5-8 year olds. Each month follows a different theme with hands on wildlife activities, craft, stories and child-led play.
The club sessions are designed to allow child-led outdoor play. Come prepared to get muddy and be outside whatever the weather. We may also be cooking snacks on a fire. We recommend long trousers and closed toed shoes whatever the weather as you will be kneeling down and walking through long grass.

All children must be accompanied by an adult.

Please note: the tickets link takes you to the Nature Discovery Centre events page so that you can find the month(s) you want.
