Explore Didcot Railway Centre – here you will see a unique collection of Great Western Railway steam engines, coaches, wagons, buildings and small relics; and a recreation of Brunel’s broad gauge railway.

Join the centre in a rural setting based around the original 1930s Engine Shed.

In addition:
•Visit the new exhibition, The Signalling Centre, and pull signal levers
•Watch the trains from the train-themed Play Park
•Dress up in Welford Park Ticket Office
•Ride in coaches from the 1930s behind some Great Western steam locomotives or in the Steam Railmotor. There are two demonstration lines, ‘The Main Line’ and ‘The Branch Line’ with trains normally running on either or both of them.
•Watch the trains go past.

Last admission is at 3.30 pm. P

Have your children tried cricket?

We are excited to offer two fun-filled days at Hungerford Cricket Club, in partnership with Berkshire Schools and Cricket Clubs.

Days of fun activities aimed at children in school years 1-4, who would like to start playing cricket or have recently done so.

The camps will be run by our team of qualified, experienced coaches who are currently delivering in primary schools in the Berkshire area.

We are happy to welcome children in school years 1-4 with all abilities. No kit is required, children need only bring a packed lunch, water bottle and plenty of energy!

Camps will run from 9am to 3pm, with registration from 8:45am at a cost of £25 per child.
