Hungerford Primary School is seeking a Co-opted and Local Authority Governor to join our friendly Governing Board.

Our governors are responsible for overseeing the management side of the school: strategy, policy, budgeting and staffing. They enable the school to run as effectively as possible, working alongside senior leaders and supporting teachers to provide an excellent education to children.

Our Board meets in person at the school six times per academic year, and in addition has a finance committee that meets online six times per year. Governors are  crucial part of the school and regularly attend the school for monitoring visits as well as whole-school events.

We would ideally like to recruit a governor with teaching experience and/or leadership/executive, strategic planning or coaching experience. However, we would like to hear from anyone with other skills or experience they feel could benefit the school.
