Bridge for Young People (formerly known as Young People and Children First) provides a home and support to young people aged 16 to 25)who are leaving care or who are homeless.

We currently have four housing projects in West Berkshire: Rebecca House , Hope House, Wessex House and Wessex Flatlets.

Our residents have typically experienced varying challenges during their childhood. We provide them with a stable home, emotional support and practical help during this crucial time as they move into independence.

We’re currently looking for motivated, enthusiastic and competent community event helpers to join our fun and dedicated team  who manage our events for us, raising awareness of our charity and helping to raise all-important funds. Please note that these events are mainly held at the weekend.
