About Educafe
Educafe is a non-profit organisation (Community Interest Company) based in West Berkshire that delivers people-centred projects to strengthen communities, addressing community needs such as: loneliness & isolation, language barriers, maternal wellbeing, diversity, mental health, Cost of Living support & employability.
Their flagship event is a free weekly drop-in community cafe at Newbury Library where residents connect for:
- ~ Language and employability skills & support.
- ~ Baby-friendly activities and direct access to local Early Years, maternity & parenting experts.
- ~ Community navigation and news
- ~ Togetherness & a warm welcome for all.
Who is it for?
- EVERYONE is welcome.
- Residents and volunteers.
- Families, including grandparents, carers and nannies.
- Newcomers to the area, including migrants, refugees, asylum seekers, non-native speakers.
- Local businesses, public services, and other community/charity organisations wishing to engage their local audiences.
