Based in Lambourn, Chatelaine Interiors works on projects of all sizes and has recently partnered with Atelier NM Interiors on a project in Belgravia that has been shortlisted as a finalist in this year’s SBID International Design Awards in the UK Residential Apartment Over £1m category. Atelier NM and Chatelaine transformed the property into serene spaces by employing calming colour palettes and soft textures. Each room was meticulously designed to promote relaxation and peace, ensuring a retreat-like atmosphere. The design was tailored to accommodate the needs of the family, blending functional spaces for communal activities with private, restful corners, making the home a true haven. Chatelaine was responsible for creating the soft furnishings including the cushions, bolsters, curtains and pelmets.
To complement the tranquil environment, Atelier NM and Chatelaine incorporated bold design elements that add character and personality to the space. Statement pieces, unique fixtures and daring colour accents were strategically used to create visually striking interiors that stand out. This approach ensured that while the overall ambiance remained serene, each room had distinct flair and vibrancy.
Sophistication was a watchword throughout the project. The use of high-quality materials, bespoke furniture and exquisite detailing exude a sense of luxury and refinement. Every aspect of the design reflects a high standard of craftsmanship, aligning perfectly with the clients’ desire for an elegant home. The attention to detail, from the intricate mouldings to the carefully selected fabrics, underlines the commitment to creating a sophisticated and timeless interior.
