Teaching Assistant required in Hungerford

Hungerford Primary School – a larger-than-average, friendly school with wonderful children, supportive staff and a caring ethos – currently has a vacancy for a Teaching Assistant on a fixed-term contract

We are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant for 27.5 hours per week Monday to Friday to work with our Foundation/key stage 1 children. Previous experience of working in a similar role would be desirable but training will be given for a suitable candidate. 

If you are dedicated, flexible, reliable, have a caring attitude and a sense of humour then this may be the post for you! 

  • GCSE grade C (or equivalent) and above in Maths and English is required. 
  • 27.5 hours per week fixed-term contract until 31 August 2025, term-time only. 
  • Salary: Scale B2, £22,366 p.a. pro rata (actual annual pay: £14,028).
  • Start date: September 2024.
