We grow organic produce to sell in veg boxes to the local community, and also create a safe outdoor place for different community groups to visit and learn about how to grow food.

We welcome volunteers yearround to help grow and harvest our produce on two sites: Shalbourne Community Garden and at Proserous Farm on the A338 between Hungerford and Shalbourne. No previous experience is required, just a love of being outdoors and working with like-minded people.

Please contact us if you would like to volunteer or to receive veg boxes. They come in various sizes and can be ordered on an ad hoc basis.

We have formed a Community Interest Company to run this project.

TESTIMONIALS
Wow I had such a lovely dinner today with all the fresh salad and edible flowers purchased from the shop and produced by the Shalbourne community growers! Very tasty, flavoursome and colourful.

So lucky to have these guys in our area - wonderful veg boxes and a great opportunity for people to volunteer in the market garden.
