The first Town and Manor Antiques and Collector’s Fair last month was a huge success. The next one is Sunday 21 April in the Corn Exchange. Open 9am to 3.30pm. Free entry.
In the meantime we have Hocktide to enjoy and we need your help. We have been busy uploading information about Hocktide celebrations over the years to our website and there is a big gap 1980 – 2009. The trees along the High Street will be decorated by local groups in Hocktide colours.
Our beautiful character rooms for hire include the Magistrates Room, the Town Hall for larger gatherings or the Corn Exchange for up to 240 people.

The price of gold continues to rise to all-time new record highs on almost a daily basis. This means we are paying record high prices for anything gold – chains, bracelets, earrings, necklace bangles and of course gold coins.
We pay between double and triple what jewellers offer even if the gold is damaged or broken. In our shop we have an electronic gold testing machine and trading standard approved scales to test the carat of the gold and weigh it accurately.
If you have any old gold please bring it in for an offer, and of course any coin or stamp collections.
