The Relaunch of Wantage Chamber of Commerce

Wantage Chamber of Commerce held its annual summer social gathering on Tuesday 2 August at the Dolphin Gallery, welcoming new members to the Chamber and introducing the organisation’s newly elected committee members and new President Richard Shepherd.

The evening featured live musical entertainment from the renowned Wantage Silver Band. Their performance provided a festive atmosphere for Chamber members to network, socialize, and celebrate the local business community.

“This is our first social event since pre-Covid and it was long overdue,” said Maeri Howard, Marketing and Membership Co-ordinator of the Chamber. “It was wonderful to bring together Wantage business owners and professionals to meet new members, reconnect with existing members, and kick off the new committee year.”

In addition to live music, the event included catering from local food specialist Lesley Ford Hampers and refreshments. Attendees had the chance to tour the beautiful Dolphin Gallery and view pieces from their latest exhibit.
