English Conversation Volunteers needed at Educafe Community Cafe

Educafe community cafe takes place every Wednesday from 11am to 2pm at Newbury Library and the Chatty Corner is very popular with non-native speakers who want to practice their English.

New volunteers are always needed to chat as more people are always joining. TEFAL qualifications are welcome but not required. This volunteer position is useful for anyone wanting to get a TEFAL qualification.

A lot of the people who go to the Chatty Corner are asylum seekers and it is really beneficial for them to have this relaxing and social space in a welcoming environment.

How to volunteer

Please fill out the online volunteering form at educafeuk.co.uk

Educafe takes a break for the month of August so you are very welcome to pop in to meet Margaret who runs the Chatty Corner in July or in September.
