Terrace View Cafe supports local families this Easter holiday

More than 50 pupils from Hungerford Primary School and John O’Gaunt School have been issued with vouchers allowing them to receive free or reduced-price meals over the Easter holidays at The Terrace View Café located upstairs at Herongate in Charnham Park.

Father and daughter team, Colin & Reese Hewer, are the proprietors of the café and they put the offer out to Hungerford schools. Hungerford Printing Company kindly donated the vouchers and the overall cost of the initiative will be shared equally between the Terrace Cafe and Herongate Fitness & Wellbeing (formerly Herongate Leisure), which has charitable status.

Geordie Taylor, chair of trustees at HFW said; “Colin and Reese’s generous offer is more than worthy of our support and HFW are happy to share the costs. Credit should also go to Jane Butler at the primary school and Zoe Hopkins at JoG who administered the distribution of the vouchers to their pupils. Well done and thank you to all involved.”
