Local Businesses Support Hungerford Primary School’s iPad Appeal

Hungerford Primary School is running a community campaign to enable the children at the school to benefit from the most up-to-date educational software programmes. The creative curriculum packages, which include music, art and design, animation and video modules, only operate on the latest iPad models, and the few iPads that the school currently has are too old to run the software.

Keen to ensure that the children don’t miss out on the educational opportunities facilitated by the latest software, the school decided to appeal to the local business community for support in the form of donations of new iPads. They are delighted that a number of Hungerford companies have already come forward with offers to donate a new device.

Hungerford Primary School Head Teacher David Mayer said, “Having a suite of new iPads will be transformative for the teaching of IT in the school and will equip the children with digital knowledge and skills that will be essential for their future learning and career development.”

The school would like to publicly express its gratitude to all the businesses that have generously supported this initiative so far, namely:

  • Marc Allen Estate Agents
  • Dickins Hopgood Chidley Solicitors
  • Hypertec
  • Compressor Products International (CPI-Howden)
  • Monty Accounting Solutions
  • David Wilson Homes
  • Frame Systems Limited

Any further donations of a new iPad would be extremely welcome.
