2023 News from Woolton Hill Village Market

There is an exciting year ahead for Woolton Hill Market and we wanted to share our news in Penny Post!

As a starting point, we have a new venue just down the road from our previous venue of Woolton Hill Village Church Hall. We are very excited to be relocating to Thorngrove School where headmaster Nick Graham is keen to support the local community and, with a huge sports hall and lots of outside space and parking, we think it’s a wonderful opportunity to grow the market and offer local residents even more choice.

The Market has a new committee which is committed to making sure the market continues to flourish. There are five of us all local and will bring new and different ideas for both store holders and visitors. We are Emma, Sue, Niki, Jim and Samantha and our real interest is to raise money for local charities.

Many of the stall holders who you’ll find at the market provide items that you can’t get on the high street and it’s great for people to be able to see and explore the history of these items. Lots of store holders have a personal interest in the items that they produce so are keen to talk to visitors about them.

It is really important for locals to attend the market because the more visitors that come along the more we will encourage even more store holders to book a table.
