Hamstead Marshall Parish Council

Hamstead Marshall Parish Council is seeking to employ a home-based, part-time Parish Clerk, working twenty hours per month.

The successful applicant will assist the parish councillors with the administration of the Parish Council. This will include attending bi-monthly evening meetings, the taking and producing minutes of meetings, maintaining financial accounts, maintaining parish records and dealing with correspondence.

It is essential that the applicant has excellent administrative, IT and communications skills. Knowledge of local government is desirable but not essential as guidance will be offered.

The salary will be £15 per hour and a working from home allowance of £17 per month will also be paid.
