Stuart was principal trumpet of The Scots Guards Band in Her Majesty’s Household Division. During this time, he played many times for the Royal Family and at State occasions all over the world.

Hungerford Printing Co.
We were delighted to be part of the team behind the Jubilee celebrations. Hungerford Printing Company printed the banners at both ends of the town, and also printed various signs that pointed the picnickers to the car parks and Croft Green last weekend. We were on hand to help set up and tear town on the day too and we were really pleased to see everyone having a great time.
Other HPC activities including printing the bunting for the Chamber of Commerce’s Jubilee tree outside Boots. All in all a busy week.

With Platinum Jubilee celebrations having been in full swing, the public have been inundated with offers of Platinum Jubilee coinage from various mints.
But please tread carefully – only the Royal Mint are authorised to produce UK coinage.
The glamorous adverts shown on TV offering gold-plated coins are merely metallic style issues from countries like the Channel Isles and Tristan da Cunha which hardly have any resale value in the secondary market.
If you want to invest in Platinum Jubilee coins stick with UK issues. We currently have the 50p coins in stock

The Clockmaker
We have a range of affordable clocks for sale in the shop as well as our usual range of antique clocks and barometers online which make lovely gifts.
We are also extremely busy servicing and repairing watches and clocks.
Hidden behind decades of dirt and rust, this lovely clock dial with a bespoke engraving has a nice 30 hour movement but we think the last time it was working was over 50 years ago. We are pleased to report it is now working smoothly again.
