New developments at St Peter’s Trust in Marlborough

Chair of St Peter’s Church Trust, David Du Croz, unveils an exciting new structure for this Marlborough based charity.

As David explains, “Over the past eighteen months the trustees at St Peter’s have been considering ways to enable the charity to engage more fully with the local population and the Marlborough community as a whole, and thereby to fulfil the Trust’s charitable objectives. We have been making plans to reposition ourselves within the life of that local community – the Trust already does much to engage with local organisations and in the social and cultural life of the town, but we want to do more. To that end we have decided to employ someone to help us to achieve our goals, and are delighted to announce that we have appointed Joanna Littlejohns to the position of Development Manager.

New Development Manager Joanna Littlejohns starts in early October. She has a great deal of experience in the third sector and working in the arts.

As Joanna says, “I greatly relish this opportunity to build on the fantastic offering from St Peter’s whether it’s their seminal annual concert programme, the fascinating Tower Tours, or the opportunity to visit the venue, seeped in history, while having a coffee. I believe there are opportunities to do even more and to involve further parts of our community.”

How to Get Involved

We would love to hear from locals to enable us to strengthen the Trust’s continuing commitment to its cultural offering in the town, and to have as much input from the local community as possible. To help inform the Strategic Development Plan, which Joanna will be writing over the coming months, please do also drop in to meet her at St Peter’s Church.
