The Merchants House Shop in Marlborough is looking for a part-time assistant to help run the shop. The successful candidate will work a minimum of 22 hours a week over four days, including weekend work. The days required are Mondays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays (Sunday working will only be required from 1 November to 24 December).
- To sell to customers and have a high level of customer service and professionalism.
- To take ownership of the stock room and maintain order.
- To take deliveries of stock, check quality, price accordingly and help display in the shop.
- To ensure the shop is cleaned and hoovered daily before opening and keeping the staff kitchen clean.
The candidate should be self-motivated, proactive, organised and flexible with hours of work. We require someone with at least one year of retail experience in the same or similar product area. The rate of pay is £10 per hour.
