GroW (Grove and Wantage Family Community Group) is run by the community, for the community. We set up in response to the closure of the Childrens Centres in 2017 to ensure we continue to have a vital service that reflects the unique needs of our expanding community. We have evolved and changed ever since. GroW now supports parents and carers in their social, emotional and mental wellbeing. And through play, stories, singing and group activities, we support the physical, emotional, social and educational development of children under 5 years old.
We do a lot of fundraising in order to be able to run a full programme of free baby and toddler groups, as well as courses to support parents and carers. We are open to everyone in the community. Please visit www.growfamilies.co.uk for info on groups and to pre-book your space.

September 2021 News
We are delighted to be re-starting in-person groups at The Beacon because they are so beneficial for our families who have been isolated during lockdown. Due to covid safety we need to purchase more wipe clean, durable cushions for the parents to sit on at our Bumps and Babies groups. The cost of 20 cushions is £350.
