The Hungerford Hub is well known for housing the Hungerford Library but there is so much more to this community space. The Hub run a variety of events from exhibitions to classes and talks.
The Hub is also available to hire at extremely competitive rates. The Hub offers a large, light filled space that can accommodate up to 100 people in seated rows or 20 in a workshop setup with tables. There is a recently refurbished kitchen for making hot drinks, plus a microwave and fridge. Glasses and crockery are all provided. There is also a 62″ screen that offers excellent display quality in all light conditions and is on a moveable trolley to offer flexibility in room layout.
The Curve Gift Shop in the Hub is open on Tues, Weds & Fri 10am - 4pm, Sat 10am - 12pm, with a wonderful selection of eco-friendly art and craft by local artisans. Run by volunteers, 15% of sales goes to the Hub.
The Hub is right in the heart of town with a pay and display car park next door and train station within walking distance.
The Hungerford Hub is a not-for-profit community asset supported by Hungerford Town Council, Hungerford Library & Community Trust and Friends of Hungerford Library (the Hub team) in order to ensure the continued provision of a library by West Berkshire Council.
