ANNABEL SNAPS UP A PLACE IN THE FINALS OF THE GUIDES FOR BRIDES AWARDS 2020

Newbury-based photographer Annabel Farley is celebrating becoming a finalist in a prestigious national wedding award.

Annabel was selected from hundreds of other photographers in the Guides for Brides 2020 customer service awards in the photography category.

The finalists were selected on the strength of customer reviews and nominations from brides and grooms in 2019 and 2020, with an award ceremony held online this week.

Mrs Farley said: “It’s been a very difficult year for everyone, but hospitality and the wedding industry has been hit extremely hard. Being nominated for this award and reaching the finals has certainly given me a lift at this time, and with restrictions easing, we’re hoping that we can get back to doing what we do best.”

Annabel set up her business nine years ago after a career in IT. Since then, she has photographed hundreds of weddings, selected by many brides and grooms for her natural, relaxed style. She is the preferred photography supplier to eight Berkshire wedding venues including Bradfield College, Ufton Court, The Post Barn, Donnington Valley Hotel, Combe Manor Barns, De Vere Wokefield Estate and her work has been published in wedding magazines such as Wedding Ideas.

She also captures family and maternity portraits, and likes to encourage her clients to go outdoors into natural surroundings such as bluebell woods and summer meadows.

Annabel added: “I wholeheartedly believe celebrating family and love by capturing precious moments, they are some of the best things in life. Not only is photography my work but my passion too. I’m so grateful to everyone who nominated me for this award.”

The Guides for Brides Customer Service Awards brings important recognition to the wedding industry. They aim to reward businesses of all sizes who deliver excellent service and customer satisfaction.
