Part-time Attendance Officer required in Hungerford

Would you like to be part of a support team that makes a difference to children’s life chances?

We are expanding our Student Welfare Team at John O’Gaunt School and seeking to appoint a part-time Attendance Officer.  You will monitor daily attendance and follow up on any absence, liaising with families and external agencies and working as part of an essential team within the school.

Knowledge of SIMS (School Information Management System) would be an advantage, although full training will be provided.  You should be able to demonstrate effective use of Microsoft Office packages and have strong communication skills; both verbal and written.

  • Contract type: Permanent, term-time only, plus three inset days (38.6 working weeks).
  • Working hours: 15 hours per week (three hours per day). 08:30 to 11:30 OR 09:00-12:00, Monday to Friday.
  • Salary: £6,405 to £6,663 (this is the pro-rata salary for part-time and term-time only.
  • Start date: As soon as possible.
