Seven-year-old Zia records fundraising song for children’s mental-health charity

Zia Miles song

Over Christmas 7 year old Zia from Lambourn decided she wanted to do something to help others during lockdown. With her parents, she decided to raise money to help children who are struggling with mental health problems during these difficult times.

Zia and her family play music together at home to keep their spirits up during lockdown. Her father Jodie, who himself has long-Covd, studied composition at university and helped Zia record a lovely song called I’m With You.

They have set up a Just Giving Page where people can listen to the song and make a donation to the Place2Be charity which provides mental health services to help kids in schools across the UK. Any support you can give is very welcome.

I’m With You is Zia’s response from her heart to the current crisis that we all find ourselves in – and it is also a tribute to how therapeutic music can be during times of stress.
