Thanks from 1st Hungerford Brownies

1st Hungerford Brownies wanted to thank everyone who had helped make their year better in 2020, especially those who offered their outdoor spaces during a time when indoor meetings were not allowed: Jimmy Hill and the Town and Manor of Hungerford, Catherine Hill and the Scrope family.

This summer, we discovered so many creatures live in our river, thanks to Jimmy; and we picked a million apples on Chilton Estate.

Nowadays, Brownies meet on Zoom – it’s very different from our usual activities but we still manage to have fun!

We’re already making plans for when things get back to normal: one of our favourite things is to take part in parades.

Thanks to a grant from Hungerford Town Council and Greenham Trust, we’ll have a shiny new flag next time you see us – so thank you to Hungerford Councillors and Trustees for Greenham Trust: you’re amazing!

Girlguiding is fun, we ‘re always looking for new helpers. Please register your interest here:
