Books by Local Authors

Comedy sci-fi by Ruth Masters who lives between Newbury and Hungerford.

The Doll’s House Children’s Book by Jean Maye in Newbury, best-selling author of children’s non-fiction books and an award-winning screenwriter & filmmaker who is now writing both children’s and adult fiction books as well. Jean has an MA in Creative Writing from Kingston University.

Nomit & Pickle Go Shopping is the first big adventure of two siblings growing up. It is dedicated to Lucy Phillips who sadly died last year at the young age of 43 yrs who was brought up in Stockcross Newbury.

  1. Hi there, we have a children’s book we have just published, we wondered if we could advertise it on here? It is dedicated to a loving family member who grew up in Newbury – she very sadly died of cancer last year at a young age of 43yrs, leaving behind two young children.
