How lockdown affects the parks, Croft Field Centre and public toilets in Hungerford

Following the government announcement about the second lockdown, we would like to assure you we are working hard to comply with the latest guidance.  Unfortunately, we have made the difficult decision to close the Croft Field Activity Centre until further notice.  We are sorry for the inconvenience this may cause to anyone who has already booked the facility.

However, unless we receive notification stating otherwise, the following amenities will remain open:

  • Public toilets at the Church Street car park.
  • The skate park.
  • The play parks at Bulpit Lane and Smitham Bridge.

We would encourage everyone using these amenities to follow the government guidelines to help limit the spread of Coronavirus, reduce the impact on the NHS and save lives.

‘HANDS – FACE – SPACE.’

If we feel the public are not adhering to these guidelines, we may have to consider closing these amenities. Let’s all do our best to limit the spread of the disease in our lovely town and community.

Thank you for your patience and understanding in these difficult times and we will do our best to keep you updated as and when new guidance is received.
