A Man for All Seasons

Newbury Cancer Care Book Launch

Newbury Cancer Care has released a new book containing many delightful photographs of West Berkshire countryside. For the past 20 years local photographer and former GP, Paul Sievers, has contributed to the Newbury Cancer Care annual calendar, which has raised over £50,000 for the charity.

He has selected some of his photographs of West Berkshire to create a beautiful book: A MAN FOR ALL SEASONS. The book has been generously sponsored by The Storey Charitable Trust and is available for £20, with all proceeds going to Newbury Cancer Care.

Not only is the book a treasure of pictures covering the seasons & events in our locality, but you will know that the money raised from the book is going to support cancer services in West Berkshire, including the Rainbow Rooms, Rosemary Centre, transport and complementary therapies. It would make a wonderful present.

Outlets for the book are:

  • Yardwood Surgery, Thatcham.
  • Carter Jonas, Newbury.
  • Jones Robinson, Newbury.
  • West Berkshire Museum, Newbury.
  • Hungerford Book Shop, Hungerford.
  • Stockcross Post Office, Stockcross.
  • Check our website for any additions.

Also, the book can be purchased directly from the NCC office by contacting office@newburycancercare.org or phone 01635 31542 for postage or for collection from the PIP office or the visitor desk at West Berks Community Hospital.

Alternatively, come and visit us at our stall in Newbury Market Place on 7th November or at Arlington Arts Christmas Market on 29th November (10.00 to 15.00) – we would be delighted to see you.

If you have any questions please contact Helen Milroy on the above contacts.

NCC needs your support to continue its amazing work. Further information is on the website:
