We are pleased to be back to our normal opening hours: 9:30am – 5pm Monday – Saturday, and Sundays 11am – 3pm. To ensure safe browsing hand sanitiser is available at the door. Please use it. We have a maximum of 3 people/bubbles in at once.

Our September wine of the month is the Château Fleur de Jean Gué Reserve 2015 Bordeaux with much of the silky power and elegance of the full on Pomerol wines, but at a modest price.

Fare Wise Travel

West Berkshire Injury Clinic

Our osteopaths and therapists help and treat a wide range of clients with aches and pains – not just athletes.  

Procedures are slightly different now to ensure everyone’s safety but we are pleased that treatments are the same and we are supporting a lot of people with a wide variety of aches and pains ranging from stiff neck from working on a laptop at home to sports injuries.

M & P Hardware

Located along the railway cuttings, we are a well-stocked hardware & electrical shop offering DIY supplies, paint and paint mixing, electrical, bulbs, plumbing, kitchenware, tools, gardening, key cutting, shoe repairs and tool sharpening. 

We have Kilner jars (and jam jars available at 25p donation to Alzheimer’s charity) for jammakers and fruit preservers. We also have fly traps, wasp spray & powder!
