The Crown & Anchor, situated in the picturesque village of Ham about four miles south of Hungerford, named one of the top 20 best hotels, pubs & B&Bs in the UK by The Guardian in 2023. A traditional village pub with rooms – a place to eat, drink and sleep in the heart of the North Wessex Downs. The local walks from the pub are so good we have published a book of them.

Whether eating in the bar, restaurant, private dining room or outside terrace we offer excellent seasonal food from our award-winning Head Chef, plus an extensive selection of local beers and wines.

For those staying, we have eight double bedrooms individually decorated with antique desks, stylish lighting and pictures, with Hypnos beds and linen, picked for maximum comfort.
