Community Strength is an important new scheme that will provide community-based support from Community Navigator volunteers to prevent and reduce social isolation throughout West Berkshire. It will encourage people of all ages to look after themselves, live independently and have a good quality of life. It will also support individuals’ mental health and wellbeing. The intention is to provide to help communities to develop their own strength and resilience so that they can thrive.
Through a referral process, it will support adults who are at risk of loneliness and isolation, who have long term medical conditions, who suffer with mental ill health or have a physical or learning disability. If you or anyone you know would like support please email email@example.com
