Hungerford Leisure Centre

Hungerford Leisure Centre, Priory Road, Hungerford RG17 0AN

Hungerford Leisure Centre is very much a key part of the community. The Centre is linked to John O’Gaunt School and shares the main sports hall and gymnasium facilities. This arrangement has enabled the Centre to build a strong relationship which benefits the pupils of the school and customers of the Leisure Centre.

The facilities include a 25-station fitness gym, a 25m four-lane swimming pool, multi-purpose four-court sports hall, dance studio/gymnasium and two outdoor tennis courts.

The sports hall is a community facility after 5.30pm on Monday to Friday and all day weekends. This large facility holds four badminton courts, basketball, indoor football and cricket nets. The space attracts a varied programme of user groups from martial arts, the local badminton club, Hungerford Cricket Club, Hungerford Town Football Club and a local netball group.

Children’s activities are catered for as well and the Centre is available for children’s parties at weekends.
