The East Garston Village Hall and, adjoining it, the Social Club are in the centre of the village at the junction of Back Street and Humphrey’s Lane. The venue has been recently refurbished and new or upgraded features include a new larger kitchen with cooker, dishwasher, cutlery and crockery; chairs and trestle tables; raised seating and staging; table tennis tables; a retractable projection screen; and even a skittles alley. Audio-visual equipment is available for hire.

The Social Club is open on Friday and Saturday nights and also open on occasional evenings through the week when there is a society evening or an event. The Club has a wide-screen TV, wi-fi access, a darts board, a pool table, a full-size snooker table and outside terrace with seating. The old shop is now rented to Priscilla’s Kitchen coffee-shop which serves a wide range of delicious lunches, cakes, biscuits and other delicacies.

A wide selection of drinks is available at competitive prices including draught beers, lager, Guinness, wine and soft drinks. Children are welcome but they must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times.

The Village Hall (approx 50 sq m) is available to rent for all private and corporate events. There is car parking nearby for approximately 20 cars and more can be accommodated nearby by prior arrangement.
