Hungerford Gives Thanks – Video Project

To pay tribute to Hungerford’s community spirit at this time, we are making a Hungerford Gives Thanks video and invite anyone in Hungerford to participate.

The video will be a compilation of Hungerford residents, businesses and organisations saying thank you to everyone for staying at home, the NHS and surgery staff, the Hungerford Self-Isolation Volunteer network, CHAIN, Food Bank, Town Council, Rotary Club, care home staff, school teachers, neighbours, supermarket & pharmacy staff, refuse collectors, police, fire station, pubs etc

The video will be posted on the Penny Post YouTube Channel and Hungerford Social Media. It will also incorporate an anthem that Jim Johnson has composed and will be selling on CD to raise funds for the Hungerford relief fund.

We invite you all to contribute yourselves and also enourage your clients/customers/friends and neighbours to contribute as well. It would help us enormously if you can spread the word for us to any of your contacts who would like to participate.

How to Participate

Please record a 3 – 10 second video on your phone (either horizontal or vertical – just to keep the phone as still as possible!). Speak clearly with no background noise. You can also sing, dance or video a picture that you’ve made saying thank you.

Then all you need to do is to send your clips by What’sApp to Penny on 07768 981658 or by email to Stuart March at [email protected] by Monday 11 May.
