Well done to everyone for making the most of the 75th anniversary for VE Day celebrations at home on Friday 8 May 2020.
Hopefully all former VE Day plans will be able to be celebrated on the weekend of the 15-16 August, to coincide with VJ Day – which commemorates the surrender of Imperial Japan during World War II.
But in the meantime, enjoy this collection of memories from last Friday.
The Mayor and Constable of Hungerford laid wreaths on the two memorials in the town.

Wantage Bunting Project decorated the Venom in Grove and The Mayor of Wantage laid a wreath.
