Staff at Hungerford Nursery School Centre for Children and Families fly the flag

Staff at Hungerford Nursery School Centre for Children and Families are playing an important role in supporting critical workers, their children and vulnerable children in the Hungerford Area during the Coronavirus pandemic.

The Nursery school continues to run with a skeleton staff. Everyone at Nursery has been brilliant keeping the children learning and happy and ensuring they have hot lunches. In the virtual world of Nursery-school learnin,g staff have created a wonderful bank of resources for parents to access online. This includes routines and structures for the day on the website, teachers telling stories on Instagram, short videos to keep children moving and learning and providing packs for children to do at home. The Nursery School will remain open during the Easter Holidays for those parents and children that need them.

The Family Centre staff are also providing virtual support to families – if you have any worries or concerns about parenting then they are a good place to start. Just give them a ring 01488 682628 option 2. Please do not be alone at home. Please check the Nursery’s Facebook page and website for more information.
