New Headteacher at Chaddleworth St Andrew’s and Shefford C.E. Primary Schools

Chaddleworth St Andrew’s and Shefford C. of E. ( V.C) Federated Primary Schools headteacher Bridget Goodrich retired at Christmas. The Governing Board thank her sincerely for her exceptional contribution to the schools and are confident that her legacy and shared vision for the schools will continue to move the schools forward as former Deputy Headteacher Alison Stephenson (pictured above) becomes Acting Headteacher.

“In preparation for Bridget’s retirement we had an extensive hand-over period to plan for the next stage in the schools’ development,” explains Chair of Governors Una Parkes. “We are delighted that Alison is now leading the school.”

“The warm, friendly atmosphere that we have created at our schools is based on our christian values of courage, compassion, trust, friendship, wisdom and endurance. We have a fabulous family of children who are kind, caring young people and are very proud of our supportive parents and carers, active PTFA, and links with the local community. We aim to provide the highest quality education that develops resilient, independent and curious learners who are prepared for their future and the world around them.”

Whether you are a parent, carer or member of the local community, you are very welcome to find out more about the schools by either arranging a visit or visiting their website.
