Event helpers
Hungerford Hub has a busy and varied schedule of events and we need more volunteers to help staff them. The events vary from art exhibitions and author talks to craft markets and language classes.
We are also looking for people who would be willing to be a presence in the library building to cover events when the library is closed. These are usually in two- to two-and-a-half hour time slots, but any help would be much appreciated.
We also need people to help with moving the mobile library shelves and putting them back, to clear the space for our larger events. This takes about 30 minutes.
An email of events and activities is sent monthly to all people who’ve expressed an interest: if you could cover one of the volunteer slots, let us know.
