Garlands Barn venue for hire

Finding the perfect venue for your event can be a lot of fun but it can also be stressful. Too often each can feel the same as the one  before – too urban and squeezed or else too country and twee.

Wouldn’t it be great to have the space and tranquility of the country combined with the freshness of contemporary design? Well that’s exactly what Garlands Barn offers. You can read some of our testimonials below.

Garlands Barn is a unique and hidden-away space, nestled in stunning Oxfordshire countryside about three miles northwest of Wantage and with seemingly endless views over the Ridgeway. A light and airy blend of wood and steel, it’s a refreshing blend of the urban and the rural, the modern and the traditional, the functional and the aesthetic.

As well as stunning views of nature, the Barn offers excellent internal and external features. It can be configured in a wide range of formats and can accommodate up to 100 people (standing) or 50 (seated). The Barn is used for all sorts of events and purposes including social gatherings such as birthday parties, business meetings, wellness retreats, yoga sessions, cooking classes and school visits. There’s a fully equipped kitchen and this or external catering facilities can be provided on request.

The Barn is also used as the home of the Maymessy social enterprise, also established by Anna Richards.
