The iconic 17th-century Merchants House in Marlborough is looking for somebody to manage events and the volunteer tour guides. This position will report to the Trust Manager.
There are three key parts to the post:
• Developing ideas, produce supporting materials and promoting fundraising events;
• Managing house tours with volunteer guides and promoting group bookings;
• Assisting the Trust Manager on a range of operational issues including office management, tradesmen and petty cash.
The candidate should be self-motivated, proactive, organised, IT-literate and creative, and with experience in fundraising events and working in the charitable sector.
Hours: four days a week (32 hours).
Salary: £18,304 to £19,968 (not pro rata) depending on experience.
