Hungerford Youth Club – April 2019 update

The Hungerford Youth Club continues to go from strength to strength: so much so, indeed, that it has recently decided to operate on an additional night. It’s therefore now open on Monday and Tuesday evenings (6pm to 8.30pm) at the Hungerford Youth and Community Centre (HYCC).,

Although the HYCC kindly provides us with use of the building at no charge, in order for us to be able offer further activities and resources for our young members – and further extend the opening hours – we always need more volunteers (all our helpers and organisers are unpaid) and help with funding.

If you are able to volunteer, please get in touch (see details at the foot of the post).

If you are able to make a donation, many thanks in advance. The best way of doing this is via The Good Exchange as your contribution will then be generously match-funded by Greenham Common Trust. All the money raised goes directly to benefit the children and young adults who attend the events that are organised.

The youth club is open open to all young people in school year 7 upwards. It offers a chill-out room, table football, hockey and table tennis as well as crafts and activities, most recently an Easter egg hunt and egg decoration. As well as the ever popular tuck, we try and provide hot food to our members. If you have any ideas for any other activities or events, please let us know.

Please contact us at hungerfordyouth@gmail.com or 07866 528121.
